The short video‑art film is an attempt to enter the space of Stanisław Dróżdż’s concrete poetry, in which the CHOIR becomes the main protagonist. The choir members are the actors. The film is an effort to visually interpret the work of Stanisław Dróżdż, and at moments also to illustrate his concrete poetry. We engage in a dialogue with his linguistic constructions, translating them into image, rhythm and cinematic space.
We build the film as a composition made of elements of language, rhythmic, repetitive, material. It is not merely a film about Dróżdż. It is a film that unfolds within his logic. Within his order. Within his “in‑between”.
The film is part of the exhibition Ścieżki do interpretacji. Suplement / Otwieramy Archiwum Mieszkania Gepperta.
