An authorial project born from an idée fixe: to film as one writes or draws, and sometimes even more simply, which does not mean more easily. A black‑and‑white cycle emerging from the very source of the digital medium, from a handful of pixels.
It is a series of small stories unfolding in a world where colour has suddenly disappeared, along with every shade of grey. Only black and white remain, and at the edges a prickling, pixel‑stitched pointillism flickers. On the screen, a symbolic stage assembled from fragments of reality, figures dislodged from everyday life move about; sometimes brushed lightly like a feather, sometimes smeared like an ink blot. Thrown into an inhuman contrast, entangled in the grotesque whims of fate, they live as if nothing had happened, in an unconscious longing for the colour they have forgotten.
The project is conceived to span many years, offering space for a deeper, structural line of thought to unfold.
